 UK ENIC

UK ENIC is the UK National Information Centre for global qualifications and skills. Following the UK’s leaving the EU, the former UK NARIC recognition agency function changes from a NARIC (which is an EU-only title) to an ENIC (the wider European title for national recognition agencies) in order to meet the UK's continuing treaty obligations under the Lisbon Recognition Convention.

MEN and Polish Universities

Recognition of the foreign University Diplomas is carried out in various ways depending on what is your profession. In case of medical professions this process is done by individual Universities in Poland. They will request from you to have your documents translated by the sworn translator who is registered with Justice Ministry.

CHILD LANGUAGE BROKERING (CLB) 

Lack of European legal framework, including in the UK, regulating engagement of professional interpreters by schools to keep in contact with pupils' and students' parents results in young children are being used as interpreters for parents whose foreign language skills are not sufficient to communicate with the teachers. This phenomenon is known as child language brokering (CLB) and often is used due to convenience of the process. Often children as young as 8 or 9 years old are being used to communicate difficult content that is inappropriate for their age. CBD puts a lot of pressure on children who cannot express themselves as well as adults leading to communicational mistakes. You can find more about CBD in our blog.
